- 'Nicks' indicates the optional nicklists for given channels. They can be toggled and are hidden by default (as is shown in 'Active Channel Window 2').
- 'Buffers List' shows a clickable list of all channels, private conversations, server screens and other 'buffers' I have open.
- 'Server Monitoring' shows information such as reported open proxies, triggered spam-filters and server bans.
- 'Channel Monitor' shows conversations from all the channels I have open. Monitoring of individual channels can be toggled; so for instance high-traffic channels can be hidden from the monitor.
- 'Highlights' shows all triggered highlights. The window is kept small, since there usually isn't a lot of activity in it; it's more there so I can notice any new highlights. For a detailed view I can hit alt+h to 'zoom' in on that window.
- Switching windows is done by pressing ctrl+cursor keys.
- Switching buffers is done by clicking on the desired buffer in the 'Buffers List', or by pressing alt+j followed by the buffer number, or just alt+0-9 if the buffer number is <11.
- /Whois replies are shown in the target-user's private buffer, or in the current buffer if no private buffer for that user is open.
- 'Active Channel Window' 1 and 2 I use for displaying the 2 channels I'm most active in at the moment
- 'Active Query Window 1' is a window I have reserve for query conversations.
- 'Active Channel/Query Window 2' is usually reserved for query conversations, but is occasionally used as a third Channel window as well.
- 'Clone Scanner' displays notifications if someone joins a channel from a host that already has 1 or more connections. Will probably drop this window as I rarely check it and already have in-buffer notifications as well.
- 'Twitter Feed' displays incoming Twitter messages. I tend to forget to log into my Bitlbee server though, so it often is empty...
